All measurements in inches. One source of truth — if a grow guide disagrees, use this table. Broccoli is 18–24 in between plants, never 3.
How to read dates in this book
Every sowing and transplant window is written from your last spring frost and first fall frost — not from a Wisconsin calendar. Look up those two dates for your ZIP or town. Example only: a typical USDA Zone 5 / Upper Midwest garden has a last frost around mid-May and a first frost around early October. Slide every “weeks before frost” instruction to match your own numbers. GardenBreezy seed is selected for USDA Zones 3–10.
